باكستان: دعوة لإنشاء تحالف عالمي لمنظمات الإغاثة الإسلامية

شهدت جلسة اللجنة التنفيذية للاتحاد الدولي للإغاثة والتنمية الدعوة لإنشاء تحالف عالمي لمنظمات الإغاثة الإسلامية؛ حيث أكد قادة المنظمات الإسلامية بالدول الإسلامية الكبرى المشاركة أنه من خلال التعاون والعمل الشبكي الفعّال والبنية الهيكلية القوية يمكن ضمان تحقيق النفع للمجتمعات.

وقد أكد السيد "خورشيد أحمد" - عضو مجلس الشيوخ السابق ورئيس معهد الدراسات السياسية - أن الجلسة التي تمتد ليومين تهدف لتقوية بنية المنظمات، مشددًا على ضرورة وضوح الأهداف وخارطة طريقة أنشطة المنظمات في ظل التحديات التي تواجهها الأمة الإسلامية.

وأشار أيضًا إلى أن منظمات الإغاثة الإسلامية يجب أن تبدأ عصرًا جديدًا لخدمة الإنسانية والطبقات المجتمعية الفقيرة والقيام بدورها بالعالم الإسلامي وبلدان العالم الأخرى من خلال حسن استعمال المصادر وحماية المحتاجين وإيصال المستحقات للمستحقين لها.

وأكد السيد "حفيظ الرحمن" - رئيس مؤسسة الخدمات الباكستانية - أنه بالرغم من وفرة المصادر إلى أن الفقر والجوع ينتشران في العالم حيث يعاني 1.4 مليار منهم، علاوة على وفاة طفل كل 3 ثوان بسبب الجوع.

وأشاد السيد "حج حسين إسماعيل" - الرئيس التنفيذي للجنة - بخبرة المنظمات الإغاثية الإسلامية، التي حصدت العديد من الخبرات من خلال المشاركة في مساعدة المتضررين من الكوارث الطبيعية كالزلازل والتسونامي. المصدر: شبكة الألوكة.

Suggestion of international alliance of Muslim Relief Organizations proposed during the two day long Executive Committee session of the International Federation for Relief and Development here on Saturday. The suggestion of registration of the consortium of Muslim Organizations from the United Nations has also been given.

The leaders the relief organizations has said that through cooperation, effective network, strong structure, development of the human resources the protection of the week strata of the society could be ensured, adding that the Muslim relief organizations should review the policies and infrastructure; meanwhile the society could only made rapid progress through the institutional public service.

Former senator and Chairman of the Institute of Policy Studies Professor Khurshid Ahmed inaugurated the two day long session. Ten big relief organizations of the Muslim countries are included in the Executive Committee of the International Federation for Relief and Development.

While addressing the inaugural session Professor Khurshid Ahmed said that the two day long session of the Executive Committee of the International Federation for Relief and Development would prove as milestone for the strengthening of the basic structure of the organizations.

He said that for achieving the goals the consultative mechanism, road map and activities should be clear, adding that the meeting of the forum is taking place on very important time, adding that the Muslim Ummah is facing great challenges.

Professor Khurshid said that the international situation is in front of everyone, adding that there is crisis in Muslim countries and Islamic relief organizations should be activated. He said that every Muslim country is passing through the revolutionary process, adding that these challenges have also brought the opportunities for us. He said that we have to make plans with serious strategy, adding that the goals should be clear, adding that whichever the decisions would be made in the meeting these would be made while keeping the future challenges in mind.

He said that the direction should be clear one, adding that the Islamic relief organizations could start new era through their service to humanity, adding that the help of the week strata of life is the responsibility of the Muslims. He said that Muslim society is in forefront for the service of the humanity, adding that the reports of the international organizations are present in this regard, adding that if the system of Islam is followed there would be no poverty in the world. He said that the Islam believes in the culture of support, adding that the wealth and recourse are ownership of Almighty Allah and have been given in the custody of the Muslims, adding that these resources should be used for the help of the poor people.

Professor Khurshid said that these efforts should be in a structured manner, adding that during the current era the state and social structure failed to protect the deserved people.

He said that only the Muslim states in past took steps for the protection of the poor strata of life, adding that for this purpose there was strong institutions present, adding that resources were collected and were distributed in poor.

He said that masses of Palestine are waiting for the same efforts, adding that the Muslim organizations should take account of their shortcomings, adding that according to a report 35 to 40 billion rupees are spent on education and health sector at the government level in Pakistan and at private sector this amount is more than 100 billion rupees.

Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan President Dr Hafizur Rehman said that more than 1.4 billion people of the world are passing life under the poverty line, adding that one child dies after three seconds in world due to the hunger, adding that the hunger and poverty is increasing instead of the presence of the resources.

He said that one billion people of the world are deprived of the clean drinking water, adding that hundreds and thousands of people are forced to migrate from one place to another due to the human made crises.

President Executive Committee of the International Federation for Relief and Development Haji Hussain Ismael also shed light on the activities of the organization, adding that the Muslim organization have learnt a lot in the result of the earthquake, tsunami and floods.

He said that at the initial stage organizations of the Turkey, Malaysia and Pakistan were included in the Forum but now 10 big Muslim relief organizations are included in the forum. He said that we have to take effective steps for the Gaza and Syria. During the two day long session vice president of the forum and Member of Turkish Parliament Mustafa Kohlu, Secretary General Afandi Muhammad and representatives of the other members are participating.

Al-Khidmat Foundation is hosting the two day long session of the executive committee; meanwhile the declaration would also be issued at the end of the session.
