Ramadan is a factory for men not a kitchen for food

It is Ramadan with us again after a whole year of absence, so what have we done for it? Did we received him with the proper hospitality and honor? Did our weapons silent from penetrating into the forbidden blood, and we did not renew the story of Qabeel and Habeel every day? Is our tongue silent about obscenity, lying and perjury? Are our eyes, hands and legs silent about committing taboos, looking at them and pursuing them?

Are we fast about thinking about offending others? Is our old man's kindness to our little one? Respect our little one, as Allah Almighty wants?

Did our riches untie cruelty from their hearts, failing for a month with compassion and charity to the poor and needy?

Did our traders feel the high stakes that iron hearts and cut pockets, so that real does not settle in them? Did they feel that the prices they raise and the profits they hope to make in Ramadan are hardship for their Muslim brothers?

The station of fasting, in which we stay for a whole month, conquers our souls with hunger and thirst, so that we can lead and lead us, to defeat it and not win over us in the battle of the great jihad that the Prophet of Allah may God bless him and grant him peace has referred to, this station should know what we are supplying from it? and what do we leave?

In this station, we are provided with a spiritual load, studying the Qur'an and hadiths, approaching Allah - Almighty - with the obedience that charges our souls with the power of faith, the ability to pass beyond the station, leave food and drink, leave the alibi and gossip, lie, cheat and harm people, fast our tongues for insults, our wounds from harm, our eyes from looking at taboos, our hands on evil, and our feet for the forbidden, the feet of the forbidden.

When we did that, we realized that we were truly fasting, we were concerned with the saying of the Messenger of Allah , peace be upon him, (whoever fasted the month of Ramadan our of sincere Faith (i.e belief) and hopping for a reward from Allah , then all his past sins well be forgiven); Bukhari and Muslim.

They ignored that Ramadan is a factory for men and not a kitchen for food, if a person wander the markets on the eve of iftar, the wonder of the people who are able to buy meat, vegetables, sweets and various foods, so that prices rise according to the increase in demand, and sometimes lose these food from the markets, and therefore the poor can not buy what they need from limited riyals.

Judge Mohammed Swaid says in his wonderful book "From Riyadh of Islam: "There is an important psychological aspect, the goal of Which Islam is to create this great Station of Ramadan, which is to connect the Muslim to Allah so that he feels that this duty is a secret between him and God, not a third between them."

Narrated Abu Huraira profet Mohammed , Allah's Apostle said: "All the deeds of Adams sons (people) are for them , excepts fasting which for Me , and will give the reward for it " Bukhari and Muslim.

Since the call of a fasting person who complies with Allah's orders, which is against his prohibitions, is answered in Ramadan, what a fasting Muslim should do is to go to God with fear to spend his needs and absences.

It is desirable to pray when you see the crescent of Ramadan, for Abdullah Ibn Omar, may Allah bless them, he said: He was the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and he said: "O Allah let this moon appear on us with security and Iman , with safety and Islam My lord and us is Allah."

It is desirable for him to call the fasting person at Iftar, says: "O Allah, I am your son of fasting, and you believe, and on your livelihood you have broken the fast, the thirst is gone, the veins have been wet, and the reward have been hopefully."

The fasting person is advised to pray to God on the nights of Ramadan, where the gates of heaven are opened, and God responds to the prayer.

In conclusion, I say:

The greatest gift that Ramadan has given to us, and even to all mankind, is the Holy Qur'an, which Allah has revealed in this holy month to Muhammad, peace be upon him, and Allah said: "The month of Ramadan, in which the Qur'an was revealed" [Al-baqra:185].

The second gift of Ramadan is the night of destiny( Laylat Al-qudar), the night of the holy Qur'an coming down on prophet Muhammad — peace be upon him — and how can it not be a great gift, in which the lights of science , knowledge have been set off, the darkness of ignorance and ignorance has been set off.

In the end:

If each of us had contributed to the revival of Ramadan in itself, prosperity would have prevailed, misery would die, the affliction would have gone, and we would be brothers by Allah.
