Fasting has distinctive economic features

David Strri believes that fasting is economical, is a cosmetic denominator, gives the digestive system complete comfort, and allows the body to get rid of the toxins and waste accumulated, and to rebuild itself...).

The most important economic features of the obligatory fasting are as follows:

First: Fasting and consumption: it is clear that there is a correlation between the exaggerated month of fasting. One is surprised by this consumer insatiable widespread that people have in general this month. Everyone is running towards the cycle of consumption and preparation for consumption in Ramadan, starting early with an awesome machine of propaganda and advertisements that surround the family all the time and through more than one means, and therefore One is prepared to fall into the terrible circle of consumption. The wife presses toward buying more, and the boys insist on their consumer demands, and one himself has a voracious condition to buy anything that is expendable.

There is a waste and extravagance to the extent of The dissipation, the quantities purchased in the normal days, are exceeded to weaken the weakening of the month of Ramadan, although it contains only two meals.

Second: Fasting and expenditure: from the Spending, what I suppose is expiation for those who have not been able to fast, including Zakaat al-Fitr.

It is a sense of fasting that it is a constipation of abdominal lust, and in the economic sense is a reduction of spending, or rationalization of spending. And the spending that is sowing in Ramadan cannot be consistent with the situation of our Muslim societies, which are mostly developing societies that require the preservation of every effort and every possibility of waste and loss of resources Consumerism, and what we make in Ramadan is a waste of material potential that we have in its place, and a waste of lofty values that we have asked the Islamic religion to uphold, and a waste of righteous behavior is contentment.

The month of fasting is a chance and no doubt our nation's members learn a benign economic habit of rationalizing spending. The month of fasting is a regular opportunity to identify the list of expenses, an opportunity to prioritize, and an opportunity to identify the level of potential surplus that should be channeled to investment purposes.

The month of fasting is also an opportunity to achieve this rationalization and to expand the potential surplus, but provided that it is linked to a rule that is neither wasteful nor wasteful, and is undoubtedly the field of rationalization, at the individual level and the level Of the year, from the words of the Almighty: ("Eat, drink, Do not be distracted ") (Ai-Araaf/31). The words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) are: : "Eat, drink, dress, and believe what you have sinned: Improvident and his snobbish,"

Third: Conclusions and recommendations:

1) These economic characteristics are inherent in the essence of fasting, as they are linked to economic forces such as: consumption, spending, money, degree of need and degree of saturation. The movement of these characteristics and the activation of their effectiveness is the task of human beings in the fasting nation, at the level of individuals to control their consumption, and to evaluate their economic behavior, and at the level of institutions to provide the necessary systems To assemble and direct the money of Expiation and Zakat and charity money and to employ its economic strength.

2) The month of fasting is an opportunity for those who to clarify the feelings of those in need, but this is linked to several factors, including: that fasting can affect the souls of those who are in need, including the religious sense that ensures A proper assessment of the necessity of expiation and the importance of paying Zakat al-Fitr, including the proper channeling of these funds.

3) The plan to confront consumption gluttony is required in Ramadan and other than Ramadan. This state of growing gluttony in us, a sign of the enormous extent of behavioral backwardness that our Muslim communities are living in, and the pensive of bins and garbage bags sees that we need to re Consider our consumption values in order to modify them to become productive values or rational consumer values.

So, consumption and spending have many dangerous dimensions that threaten our economic life and threaten our national security. Is Ramadan a chance and a space to have the will to address the predatory state of consumption, and the methods The splendor tunnels?
